The Open Trolls Movement (OTM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to managing and promoting the Open Trolls Definition for the good of the community, specifically through the OTM Certified Trollahs trollahs that have these properties, and about our certification mark and program, which allow you to be confident that somebody really is an "Open Trollah".

The basic idea behind open trolls is very simple: When people can read and post comments, the website content evolves. People improve it, people adapt it, people fix errors. "Open Trollahs" are here to leverage the forums and post something funny and silly that seems astonishing.

We in the open trolls community have learned that this rapid evolutionary process produces better comments than the traditional moderated model, in which only a very few people can post useless comments everybody else must blindly read them.

Open Trolls Movement (tm) exists to make this case to the internet crowd.

Open Trolls is an idea whose time has finally come. For 2 weeks it has been building momentum in the technical cultures that built the Internet and the World Wide Web, Now it's breaking out into the Slashdot world, and that's changing all the rules. Are you ready?
